Majid Magazine: Growing Up in the Arab World

Join us for a panel discussion titled Majid Magazine: Growing up in the Arab World, in the Art Gallery Reading Room on Saturday, November 8 at 4:30 PM. This conversation will focus on the cultural and social significance of Majid Magazine. It will also explore the publication’s historical impact, from fostering pen-pal networks to shaping regional cultural perspectives since its launch in 1979. Panelists include Mohamed Aljneibi, an avid collector and enthusiast of Majid Magazine, and Sara Al Zaabi, a researcher whose work explores the magazine's role in cultural diplomacy and its influence on youth identity in the region.

This program is in connection with the exhibition Ala Younis: Past of a Temporal Universe. Free and open to the public.
