The Legacy of the Baghdad Modern Art Group in Contemporary Iraqi Art

Join us for a panel discussion titled 'The Legacy of the Baghdad Modern Art Group in Contemporary Iraqi Art,' in the Blue Hall, NYUAD Art Center, on Thursday, February 12 at 5:00 PM.

Moderated by Nada Shabout and Maya Allison, the panelists will discuss and reflect on the legacies and influence of the Baghdad Modern Art Group on different generations of Iraqi artists. Panelists include Hanaa Malallah, Ghassan Ghaib, Mahmoud Obaidi, Amar Dawod, and Rand Abdul Jabar.

This conversation will be in Arabic. English simultaneous interpretation will be available.

This program is in connection with the exhibition All Manner of Experiments: Legacies of the Baghdad Modern Art Group.
