Abu Dhabi Choral Group returns to The Red Theater with The SpongeBob Musical, a bold and imaginative stage production based on the hit Nickelodeon series. When Bikini Bottom faces an unexpected threat, SpongeBob and his friends, Patrick and Sandy, step up to save their home, proving that optimism, courage, and community can overcome any challenge.

Featuring an exciting pop-inspired score created by a lineup of world-renowned artists such as Sara Bareilles, Steve Tyler (of Aerosmith), and Cindi Lauper, with colorful characters and energetic choreography, The SpongeBob Musical promises a joyful and unforgettable theater experience for audiences of all ages.

Abu Dhabi Choral Group (ADCG)

ADCG last performed at The Red Theater with their sellout show, Shrek: The Musical, in June 2025, marking the community choir's 6th collaborative project with The Arts Center at NYU Abu Dhabi. Since 1977, musically inclined expatriates and locals alike have found a warm welcome in the Abu Dhabi Choral Group, a four-part harmony choir that celebrates Broadway musicals. ADCG is comprised of men and women (18 years and over) from all over the world, representing 15+ nationalities and languages spoken, with talents ranging from first time performers to seasoned veterans. With active membership currently averaging at 40-50 performers per season, this long-standing community theater group is excited to be part of the new cultural landscape in Abu Dhabi.
