How does an idea become a stage environment?
Led by TK Hay, from the NYUAD Theater Program’s fall production, Symposium of Love, this workshop introduces the creative process behind contemporary stage design, from research and concept development to the creation of three-dimensional theatrical spaces. Through professional case studies, practical insights, and a hands-on model-making exercise, participants will explore how designers transform ideas into spatial experiences. No prior experience in theater, stage design, or model making is required.
The workshop is suitable for participants aged 18 years and older, with an interest in design, creativity, and visual storytelling.
