This conference brings together young economists from NYU, NYU Abu Dhabi, and around the world to discuss new research on markets, private enterprise, and entrepreneurship in the areas of development and economic growth. The research presented encompasses a variety of approaches, including randomized and natural experiments, macroeconomics, economic history, and structural estimation. The aim is to integrate research networks, improve research quality, and spur collaborations and synergies in this growing, diverse and important field of study.
