This lecture examines the assimilation of people of African descent and their living experience in the Gulf as expressed through music and their newly evolved Afro-Emirati identity. The speaker also addresses how Africans exported knowledge, performed various Arts to express their conditions and how their music became an integral component of UAE National musical identity.
