Despite efforts to increase the diversity of the workforce in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), women remain largely underrepresented in these fields. This symposium brings together experts from across the globe who study the impact of diversity on innovation and discovery, who have identified the underlying causes of the STEM gender gap, and who have implemented effective programs to address this.
