The NYU Biomedical and Biosystems Conferences are planned as a series of annual events, held in Abu Dhabi once every two years, and in either New York or Shanghai in the other years. The 1st Conference was held in Abu Dhabi from April 9 to 11, 2017. Sponsored by NYU Abu Dhabi, these annual conferences address topics at the transdisciplinary interface of engineering, sciences, and medicine, spanning the spectrum from fundamental research to application and translation into practice.
