Falcons are a diverse group of birds of considerable biological, cultural, and commercial interest. Advances in sequencing technology now allow for an unprecedented examination of the genetic architecture of these important birds and explorations into the legacy of their complex relationship with humans. This conference brings together experts in falconry, falcons, and genomics from across the Middle East and the world to build collaborations that will apply genomics to support falconry and answer broader questions of falcon biology.
