THE INSTITUTE - NEW YORK
Workshop

A Quantum Al-Khawarizm for Spacetime:

August 28-30, 2023, 10:00AM EST

19 Washington Square North

Past Event

Open to the Public

The topic of Von Neumann Algebras has attracted a lot of attention in recent years as a promising language for studying the interplay between spacetime and matter. The goal of this workshop is to discuss the recent advances on the topic, with a focus on the role of von Neumann algebras in holography and quantum gravity. The workshop features both pedagogical and technical talks by leading experts in the field.
