Microbial Ecology Society in the Middle East

This roadmap workshop brings together leading scientists from research institutes in the Middle East, and academic universities to showcase their latest work in the field of microbial ecology and discuss the establishment of a Microbial Ecology Society in the Middle East (MEsME). The workshop focuses on the ecology of important groups of microbes (bacteria, archaea, fungi, phytoplankton and viruses) and microbial communities across a wide range of underexplored ecosystems in the region, especially extreme environments.
