This conference explores the transformative role of digital and AI technologies in non-democratic governance. As these technologies reshape societal structures and political dynamics, they present new challenges and opportunities for governance, social movements, and public discourse. In collaboration with NYU New York and NYU Shanghai, international scholars explore theories and methodologies to address how digital and AI technologies influence governance in non-democratic contexts, their effects on social and political dynamics both locally and globally, and the role of economic and global factors in shaping governance and public policy. Submissions can include an abstract, though full draft versions are preferred. Please send your submission via this link Convened by
