This workshop brings together scholars from across the social sciences to examine algorithms for causal identification and robust inference in the study of society and politics. The conference will feature a day of didactic sessions, sessions with competitively selected papers, panels with featured speakers, and a poster session for graduate students, postdoctoral scholars, and junior faculty. The conference will offer high quality feedback to works in progress and serve to deepen connections between scholars working on methodology across political science, sociology, economics, and other social sciences. October 15-16 features keynote speakers, paper panels, and a poster session; October 17 features 3 teaching workshops dedicated to the latest tools in social data science research.
